Project Information

On June 15-16, 2010, the City of Sheridan hosted back-to-back public workshops at the YMCA to describe the project purpose and need with regard to public utility improvements, outline the approximate project timelines, describe the way in which the public may participate throughout the design process, and hear public perspective on project purpose and need.  To view the presentation seen at this workshop, refer see the June 2010 Presentation.

On October 5, 2010, the project team hosted a second public workshop to discuss potential alternatives for street design, sidewalks and parking placement in the neighborhood. Attendees viewed another presentation, participated in a tabletop exercise where they viewed different design options, discussed pros and cons of each option, and provided feedback on their preferred option or combination of options.
