The Utilities Maintenance Team is charged with the operation and maintenance of a very complicated water distribution system that includes pipes that belong to both the City of Sheridan and the Sheridan Area Joint Powers Board. The Utilities Maintenance Team also maintains the sanitary sewer collection system to ensure it remains in good flowing condition.

In addition to operating and maintaining the water and sewer systems, we provide 24/7 emergency response to water and sewer incidents. The Utilities Maintenance staff also installs, maintains and reads water meters.
